Harumph Wines
Co-owners Scotti Stark and Michael DeSantis blend their years of experience in business and wine to bring you fabulous wine. Sourcing from only the best vineyards and the finest growers in Napa Valley, they have the luxury of choosing with whom they want to work and the freedom to make the wine they want to make. The name, ‘Harumph’ comes from a movie quote by prominent actor and avid oenophile Mel Brooks. He tried the wine and became a big supporter! Their first release is the 2011 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. It's a fun label, but there is a serious wine inside.
Melanson Vineyard
The best grape-growing region in Napa Valley you’ve probably never heard of is Pritchard Hill. This high part of the Vaca Mountains, off the beaten path and remote, is producing among the most profound wines in Napa Valley including Bryant, David Arthur, Colgin, Continuum to name a few.
Melanson Vineyard is located in the center of Pritchard Hill looking over exceptional view of Lake Hennessey. The grape and wine of choice is Cabernet Sauvignon. Melanson also sells their grapes to cult wine makers and now they make their own label with their remaining grapes. This wine is spectacular and cannot be missed!
Peacock Family Vineyard
Peacock is a 6 acre hillside vineyard planted in 1989 approximately 750 feet above the valley floor where its view from their estate is breathtaking. Owner Chris Peacock put his vineyard's intent as such: “We did not set out to make any money from producing wine from our vineyard, but we have created a truly distinctive wine that is respected by all who taste.” Their mountain Cabernet Sauvignon struggles more than any fruit on the valley floor, giving their wine and intense and highly distinctive flavor. It's this unique flavor that has made Peacock Family Vineyard one of the more popular and sought-after wines in California.
Phifer Pavitt Wine
Every big decision the Phifer couple has ever made together was on their once a week “Date Night”. Together they found that the decisions borne out of "Date Night" provided them results that far exceeded their expectations. It was this c'est la vie of their joyous nights out that inform the wonderful and dynamic flavors found in their wines. The Phifer couple hopes you too can cherish those special moments with one of their prized bottles of wine.
Saint Helena Winery
Founded in the year 2000, Saint Helena Winery was created to promote estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon that appeals to curious and cultured wine buyers looking beyond big wine brands for new discoveries. Their wines are for people who collect and enjoy rare items for personal indulgence.
When you open a bottle of their wine, you are experiencing something few people will ever know ? a wine reflecting the craft of their small-but-stellar team of farmers and winemakers and their unique place in Napa Valley.
Twisted Roots Vineyard
Centered in the heart of the Lodi appellation, Twisted Roots Vineyard is the work of three generations of family members dedicated to the practice of growing great wine grapes.
While the family established the vineyard in 1918, it wasn't until recently that they began producing their own wines. They follow sustainable farming practices throughout the entire wine making process. As a part of their philosophy of "let the fruit speak for itself", they prefer to use "neutral" French Oak barrels to ferment and age some of their wines. Using neutral oak barrels allows the grapes to express more of their natural flavors as you drink, instead of being overwhelmed with oak tastes. Very first appearance in Japan and you will love it!
Vicarmont Vineyards and Winery
Lodi is said to be Zinfandel capital of the world, located roughly 100 kilometers East of Napa Valley. Vicarmont has been farming in Lodi since 1899 - just over a century of wine making. Growing grapes for 5 generations has brought them a lot of respect and pride, and in 2005 they decided to start their own label called Vicarmont. The name comes from their name, Vic, Carrie and their beloved dog Monty. You will find that their wine is filled with family history and affection.

After some time in the decanter, it displays old school cedar notes, camphor, lavender, and hedonistic jammy blackberry, blueberry, and cassis. The palate is fleshy and opulent. Deeply saturated with a dark ruby hue. The wine opens with a complex array of cassis, pencil shavings, and violets on the nose. Great expressions of dark fruit. Plum, cherry, fig, and black berries. Notes of eucalyptus, black licorice, and junior mints. The floral component screams violets. The 2011 Peacock Vineyard Cabernet can be described in one word...LAYERS. It is very complex and enjoyable. Powerfully aromatic, you can smell coco powdered cherries as you pour it into a glass. As your nose gets closer, one can sense violets and rose petals. 2011 Twisted Roots Cabernet Sauvignon
Taste Note
This wine features aromas of warm brambleberry, black tea and clove. It presents with dark, luscious fruit-firm tannins and a finish featuring bright cherry notes. This wine was aged in 100% neutral French oak barrels to showcase the fruit. Overall, this is a very smooth finishing Cabernet that does not overwhelm the palate.

2012 Twisted Roots Costamagna Zinfandel
Taste Note
In contrast to their standard “1918” Old Vine Zinfandel, this commemorative Costamagna Zinfandel, is a much lighter, and brighter example of a California Zinfandel. While the vines now grow in the Twisted Roots Estate, Luca Costamagna immigrated to Lodi in 1913. He brought the knowledge of grape growing and the art of making wines from the village of Costamagna, located in the Piedmont region of northwest Italy. It offers brilliantly bright and vibrant fruit up front, with a very slight white pepper spice.
